About the Role:
CrowdStrike is hiring for a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to help take our internal automation to the next level. We are looking for a highly-technical, hands-on Engineer with experience using several open-source projects commonly found in large-scale deployments. You will develop and maintain Chef Infrastructure, cookbooks, and other core infrastructure services such as DNS, Grafana/Graphite, and proxy services to support the CrowdStrike engineering team’s pursuit of a full DevOps model.
Core Requirements:
  • Large scale infrastructure management experience
  • Strong Linux background (e.g., Ubuntu, RHEL)
  • Experience with networking design/debugging
Expertise in 1 of the following with strong practical experience in at least two others:
  • Configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc)
  • Deploying and managing instances in private datacenter (VMWare, MAAS, etc)
  • Software development (Ruby, Python, GoLang)
  • Managing/Using Kubernetes for deploying container services
  • Monitoring of critical services (Grafana, Graphite, Prometheus, Thanos, etc.)
  • Deploying and managing instances in the public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc)

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position in the U.S. is $105,000 - $195,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
