Job Description
As a Sr. HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to management and employees, with a focus on ensuring compliance with HR policies, laws and regulations, as well as delivering HR programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, development, and retention. What You Will Do in the Role Build strong partnerships with the Shared Services organization by understanding their business needs, challenges and opportunities and identify HR solutions that align with their goals. Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Manages employee relations issues with the oversight from the HRBP. Building and maintaining positive relationships with team members, addressing their concerns, and resolving conflicts. Streamlines processes and document new SOPs as needed. Collaborate with other HR functions, including compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, learning and development to ensure a cohesive and effective HR strategy. Providing input on organizational design and talent management initiatives. Managing HR projects and initiatives as assigned, including process improvements, system implementations and other HR-related projects. Maintaining HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Collecting and analyzing HR data to identify trends, insights, areas of improvement and generate reports. Develop and implement performance management platform which includes, goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning. Facilitate leadership training across the organization to include but not limited to, coaching and development, corrective action, performance management, overall HR expectations. The Experience You Bring A passion for partnership and collaboration and the ability to successfully provide HR Leadership in a fast- paced environment 5+ years of HR Generalist experience supporting a multi-site, multi-state overall workforce 5+ years of Employee Relations experience and resolving conflict Experience with HRIS; Workday preferred Experience with both Non-Exempt and Exempt populations Effective communications (verbal and written) Union experience (a plus) Experience with organizational design, data analysis, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, engagement, and DEI programs. Demonstrated experience with using data to make informed decisions.
