GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Sr. Director of Store Maintenance is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of all store maintenance repairs, preventative maintenance, and non-real estate project work in a consistent, cost effective manner across all Luxottica Retail brands. Establishes an enterprise Store Maintenance Strategic Plan, effectively manages and develops strong working relationships with service providers and suppliers, as well as with Procurement, Finance, Risk Management, Asset Protection, Real Estate, Store Excellence and Brand Store Ops partners. This position is the organization’s main point of contact for the maintenance and repairs of our stores, serving approximately 4,500 Luxottica Retail stores in North America. Stays current on developments related to the field and actively pursue the knowledge and skills required for continual improvement. Leads the Store Maintenance Team providing strategic directions to achieve Company goals and Business results.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sets objectives and continuously measures KPIs of Store Maintenance Service
  • Performs periodic site inspections of stores
  • Collaborates with Procurement to manage service provider relationships, KPI’s, and contracts. Constantly evaluates service provider performance and functionality to ensure our locations are receiving “Best In Class” service
  • Responsible for the consistent use and operation of the web-based Work Order Management System, including dashboard reporting tools available within the system
  • Actively participates on the Disaster Recovery Team and leads business continuity task force
  • Partners with Finance and Brand teams to develop and manage budgets for all maintenance/repair expense and capital dollars
  • Develops standards and SLAs for all brands, differentiating Maintenance policies based on store typology and priority
  • Interacts with executive level positions to gain alignment on strategies and initiatives
  • Identifies, builds and collaborates with Store Excellence Team on Maintenance Audits Program
  • Continually develops and implements strategic plans to control and reduce overall maintenance spend and improve repair resolution time and quality
  • Directly trains, supervises, and develops the Store Maintenance staff
  • Partner with Procurement on the implementation, with the focus to improve service level and cost optimization
  • Strives for an organizational understanding between initial cost and life-cycle costs
  • Oversees all repairs and projects related to maintaining a “Best in Class” quality store environment for all Brands

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in a retail setting (Construction, Maintenance, Store Operations, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and budget management
  • Excellent knowledge of Store Maintenance techniques, regulations, industry best practices, and trends
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • 5+ years management/leadership experience managing teams, budgeting, developing and executing strategic plans
  • 12+ years related work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of web-based work order management systems
  • Excellent knowledge of store design elements and finishes, recommended maintenance procedures

Pay Range: $ - $197,920

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
