Sports Betting Affiliate Licensing Specialist - North American Market

We are seeking a Sports Betting Affiliate Licensing Specialist to help our media company obtain igaming affiliate licenses and deals in USA states.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the legal and regulatory environment of the online betting industry in USA, and will drive the affiliate marketing licensing process for our expanding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entire process of obtaining and renewing affiliate marketing licenses for sports betting and iGaming in various states across North America, particularly in the United States.
2. Stay up to date with legal and regulatory changes impacting sports betting and iGaming affiliate marketing. Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on these changes and potential business implications.
3. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, such as legal advisors, compliance officers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure licensing applications are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
4. Work with internal teams (marketing, product, operations, etc.) to ensure that our affiliate marketing strategies are fully compliant with all local and federal regulations.
5. Manage potential licensing issues, such as application rejections or renewals, ensuring minimal impact on business continuity.
6. Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with all current licenses and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. At least 3 years' experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or legal roles within the sports betting and/or iGaming industry.
2. Proven experience in obtaining affiliate marketing licenses in the North American market, with a clear understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape.
3. Strong understanding of North American sports betting and iGaming market, with a focus on the affiliate marketing sector.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with regulatory authorities and internal teams.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Law degree or certification in regulatory compliance or a related field.
2. Professional experience in the North American market.
3. Familiarity with other areas of licensing within the iGaming and sports betting industry.
