Job Description
At Samba TV, we are on a mission to fundamentally change television viewing for everyone. We are doing this by leveraging our data to enable advertisers to engage and measure TV viewers across all their devices. We have an amazing story with a unique perspective formed by innovative technology.


As a Measurement Operations Specialist, you will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to accurately track campaigns and sites for research studies while fostering our publisher partnerships. You will manage daily operations and act as a vital resource for internal Measurement Operations, Research, and Sales teams. Additionally, you will assist in training new hires, ensuring they become successful team members. This role emphasizes strong customer service skills, adaptability, acute attention to detail, strong proactive communication skills and a bias for action.


This is a hybrid position and can be based either in our Chicago or Austin offices.


Responsibilites:


  • Understanding client requirements and measurement goals
  • Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of our engagement
  • Manage technical collaborations with a diverse range of global industry leaders, ensuring a positive and attentive customer experience
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, offering clear communication and addressing concerns in a timely manner
  • Driving successful technical integrations with some of the largest Advertising Agencies, Brands, and Publishers in the world


Requiremnts:


  • Collaborative skills with engineers, sales, and operations teams, both internally and externally
  • Action-oriented with hands-on experience delivering business results
  • Experience with advertising attribution or measurement
  • Eagerness to learn and adopt new skills, both technical and non-technical, to create and deliver the best solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, with prompt responsiveness and action when required
  • Basic Python and SQL experience or a willingness to learn
  • Experience in customer implementation or support, with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously
  • Technical experience with analytical tools
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and formulas
  • Familiarity with the advertising technology ecosystem, including Ad Servers, DMPs, DSPs, Publishers, and SSPs, as well as their interplay and roles within the industry
  • Outstanding follow-through and minimal need for follow-up
  • Background in digital or linear advertising operations3-5 years of experience in a technical, client-facing role
  • Ability to systematically analyze problems and propose innovative solutions
  • Exceptional customer service skills, focused on understanding client needs and nurturing professional relationships
  • High adaptability, prepared to embrace and respond to changes in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments
