Summary of Position
The Provider Recruitment Specialist II will play a critical role in recruiting and hiring providers to support telemedicine consults across the United States. This role partners with the Provider Recruiters, along with colleagues in Credentialing, Licensing, Provider Relations, and Provider Enrollment to ensure that Teladoc has a robust provider network to support member needs. This position is the first point of contact and will guide candidates proactively through the hiring process including providing assistance in obtaining needed documents, answering questions, and being dedicated to an overall positive candidate experience. To be successful in this role, you must have strong diligence and critical thinking skills, outstanding customer service focus, and the ability to prioritize and organize work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Onboarding Process Coordination (60%)
- Communicate with applicants regarding Teladoc policies and procedures. Answer candidate questions in a timely manner or direct to the appropriate department as needed.
- Verify credentialing application materials are completed correctly and confirm provider meets the minimum requirements of each position.
- Assist with completion and execution of employment offers and independent contractor contracts, licensing, and credentialing.
- Meet established monthly KPI’s
- Coordinate and follow up with candidates at scheduled intervals regarding credentialing application materials and credentialing process and help solve barrier to submitting application materials.
- Establish rapport with candidates through excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Verify credentialing application materials are completed correctly and confirm provider meets the minimum requirements of each position.
- Synthesize and share knowledge with candidate regarding necessary credentialing materials dependent on provider state licenses.
- Maintain high level of communication between candidates, recruiters, and other stakeholders.
- Meet established monthly KPI’s

- Collaborate with key stakeholders, hiring managers and provider recruiters to ensure best practice and process adherence.
- Maintain high level of communication between candidates, recruiters, and other stakeholders.
Data Management and Reporting (45%)
- Ensure compliance with all hiring policies, standards, and applicable laws.
- Maintain an organized database of candidates, including contact information, qualifications, and recruitment status.
- Generate reports and analytics on recruitment activities, including candidate pipelines, time to fill and other key metrics.
Perform other job duties as assigned. (5%)

Qualifications Expected for Position
- Direct experience with an Applicant Tracking System, a significant plus.
- Ability to take ownership of work and seek opportunities to enhance the Provider Recruitment function.
- Well-organized and self-motivated.
- Experience building dashboards and automated reports preferred.
- Ability and comfort-level with communicating with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Experience with HR technologies, such as Workday, a plus.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Thrives working in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
- Customer service mindset: someone dedicated to a positive, high-touch candidate experience.
- Possesses a sense of urgency and the ability to process and retain information quickly.

- 3+ years’ experience in a human resources environment, preferably Recruitment and Onboarding in a healthcare environment
The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2023 . Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
