As a Director, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

10 year(s) of relevant experience in healthcare provider operations consulting or similar experience within a health care system.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts, identifying and addressing client needs:
- Implementing initiatives aimed at improving healthcare provider operations and/or reducing cost;
- Understanding quality reporting requirements;
- Assessing healthcare provider workforce and implementing techniques to increase productivity;
- Providing healthcare provider operations subject matter specialization in clients engagements related to improving the efficiency of healthcare provider organizations, as well as identifying strategic opportunities for growth;
- Managing client engagements or healthcare operations leadership and producing solutions;
- Assisting organizations with strategic healthcare provider initiatives; and,
- Optimizing staffing models and effectively deploy the right mix of skill sets to match demand;
- Assessing healthcare provider policies and procedures;
- Assessment of healthcare provider operating models, including strategy, capabilities, operational performance and governance models;
- Understanding of key operational and financial drivers of success within a healthcare Provider organization;
- Using data analytics to identify opportunities and solutions and engaging clinicians in driving sustainable cultural and organizational change.
- Understanding the latest industry trends and regulatory changes, and their impact to organizations;
- Benchmarking to compare healthcare provider performance and costs to leading practice, including operational results, productivity, and quality metrics;
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts, identifying and addressing client needs:
- Building and maintaining networks of client relationships;
- Communicating value propositions and articulating overall impact of proposed actions;
- Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;
- Utilizing applications such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Tools to create proposals for prospective clients and deliverables for existing clients;
- Designing and developing data analysis and analytical tools to identify opportunities and build cases for change;
- Developing rapport with client clinical leadership;
- Leading collaborative design sessions with cross-functional client stakeholders, including clinicians, to identify opportunities for improvement in operations;
- Understanding of core provider healthcare systems (including ERP and EHR technologies); and,
- Answering questions and providing direction to less experienced staff; - Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback and developing, writing, presenting and facilitating discussions on strategy to all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management;
- Effectively communicating with client leaders and clinicians to build an atmosphere of trust and solicit active participation in initiatives;
- Having experience with common business and data tools (including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Tools, Alytrx, Tableau).
- Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials;
- Managing resource requirements, project workflows, budgets, billing and collections;
