Our culture of openness, flexibility, and inclusiveness allows everybody to flourish in their own way. If you’re looking for a career where you can be part of the action as we continue to grow our iconic brand - We got you!

Overview:

The Employee Relations & Compliance Specialist (ERCS) acts as the primary investigator for employee relations and compliance matters. The ERCS works to enhance and improve the satisfaction and engagement of employees by ensuring their concerns are addressed and promptly resolved in compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies; this is done by leading employee investigations and providing resolution recommendations to the supporting HR and Operations partners, both virtually and on-site. The ERCS also acts as the lead on compliance matters including, but not limited to, personnel file audits, minor labor audits, and audits conducted by state or federal agencies. The ERCS will also develop and lead trainings around both Employee Relations and Compliance matters to the broader HR and Operations teams and help support the broader HR Business Partner team when they are on PTO. This position will require frequent travel to company restaurants. Preferred location for this person to work remotely in Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrity of the business by acting as lead for compliance-related programs including, but not limited to, personnel file audits, minor timecard audits, and agency initiated audits both on-site and virtually.
  • Conduct ongoing training for HR and Operations teams around various employee relations and compliance topics both on-site and virtually.
  • Advocate for the employee experience by serving as lead investigator for employee relations cases including conducting on-site investigations and interviews, maintaining complete and thorough documentation, and closing out investigations with claimants and other involved parties.
  • Support company markets when HR Business Partners are on PTO.

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in compliance, employee relations, and training is required.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Professional Suite, including Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction by understanding priorities.
