Job Description

General Description


The S&OP Senior Manager will partner with stakeholders to support the monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) process. This role will require project management and leadership to support the S&OP roadmap development, documenting process and partnering with the S&OP BPM’s on continuous improvement to the process/monthly cycle. This role will leverage metrics and analytical tools to understand areas for opportunity and innovation. This role also includes preparing for Demand Review Meetings, Supply Review meetings, Regional Meetings and Executive S&OP Meetings by collecting relevant information and metrics, preparing presentations for review, and tracking pending actions. A key part of this role is to sustain the S&OP process. This will require onboarding new team members from different functions on the S&OP process and engage them on the key expectations. Maintaining and tracking of attendees, action plan log, outcomes, and summaries of meeting.


Responsibilities


  • Prepares rolling 12-month S&OP Schedule in partnership with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Finance and Manufacturing
  • Ensures that meeting decisions are communicated and tracked for completion
  • Extracts information from relevant systems and incorporate it in the S&OP Cycle steps presentations
  • Ownership and development of dashboards used throughout the S&OP Cycle
  • Maintains clear visibility of topics being discussed in each of the S&OP forums, escalates as needed, and links/aligns with meetings/forums external to S&OP
  • Governs task completion and facilitates check points reviews within the cycle.


Competencies


  • Demonstrates experience and a strong understanding of commercial demand/supply planning and S&OP process
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Understanding of SAP ERP/IBP system and functionality
  • Understands comprehensive global pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (e.g. cGMP, GDP)
  • Adept at constructing presentations for the S&OP team to communicate process, concepts, data, scenarios, and other critical information to facilitate teamwork and decision making
  • Strong collaboration and excellent team skills to be successful in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
  • Strong skills as a meeting facilitator with the ability to keep a meeting on track while engaging all stakeholders and driving to a set of decisions that can be executed in the business


Education Required


Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar education required, with 7+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain or project management preferably within the biotech, pharmaceutical industry; If Masters Degree, 5+ years of progressive experience required.

Other Qualifications: Due to global nature of company early morning or evening meeting may be required.


Travel: 10%


Salary Range: $126,700.00 - $171,700.00 annually

Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
