We are seeking to add a VP COE Supply Chain Planning to play an integral role in our Global Planning Organization! The Vice President, Center of Expertise, for Global Supply Chain Planning, will play a key role in defining and driving an integrated and optimized supply chain suite of processes, metrics, and systems for Hasbro’s product-based businesses globally, with the goal of improving responsiveness, on-time delivery at optimal cost to serve. The individual in this role will drive the strategic vision for the supply chain planning processes and organization to meet the required customer service expectations while setting Hasbro up to achieve business targets on growth, profitability and working capital through responsive planning and analytics. This role will be responsible to facilitate the understanding and introduction of best-in-class concepts into our planning processes such as strategic forecast reconciliation, portfolio management, segmentation, E2E network planning with scenario planning and intelligent automation, driving greater effectiveness and efficiency in our decision making daily and through S&OP/S&OE; all while creating the capabilities roadmap to define the introduction of these into our planning landscape adopting proven and emerging technologies as needed to deliver the state-of-the-art digital planning operating environment for Hasbro’s success.


A day in the life of a VP COE Supply Chain Planning:


  • Leads the supply chain design center of expertise for Planning and drives the strategic roadmap for transformation. Influences key commercial policies to ensure that the new global standards and approach to Inventory Policy setting are adopted and embedded into the organization. Ensures the design leverages the fullest automation of the processes to support advanced analytics and decision making.
  • Recruiting talent to elevate Hasbro supply chain in best practices and digital fluency, Develop a Supply chain academy equivalent program of Training and Development for Planning organization.
  • Strategic influencing of senior leadership to ensure the adoption of integrated business planning, S&OP/S&OE & Demand Planning Integration/ Design & Optimization, deployment, and delivery.
  • Drive the development, deployment, and delivery of the Intelligent Control Tower to enable end to end synchronization, drive customer focus and visibility of the supply chain for transformational improvement to executional performance.
  • Leveraging direct and matrixed reporting relationships, ensure that the new process design for E2E Supply Network Planning Design & Optimization is fully deployed and leverages the fullest automation of the processes to support advanced analytics and decision making.
  • Drive the highest standards of program management and ensure the change management program is comprehensive in operationalizing the new process designs and full systems implementation.


What you’ll bring:


  • Must have a proven track record of project delivery success that should include system implementation / integration, cost savings, process improvement.
  • Expertise with Supply chain systems, policies, processes, and procedures to achieve world-class, integrated supply chain performance.
  • Strong functional knowledge across supply chain specifically in Plan but also in Source & Deliver, including but not limited to the following: enterprise resource planning, integrated business planning, demand planning, supplier collaboration & management, sales and operations planning, new product introduction, transition management, production planning & scheduling, inventory policy/ management and distribution.
  • A change agent, confident, motivated, with a bias for action and inspiring others to do so!
  • Ability to communicate and influence multi-disciplinary teams developing strong partnerships across functions to drive the design, build, and deployment of state of the art, supply chain eco- system/ environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree (required) and MBA desirable. Preferred fields include Supply Chain Operations/Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management or related discipline and 10- 15 years of experience in areas of Planning, Logistics and/or SC Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Network Planning, and Business Management.
  • Strong business acumen to define the right processes and systems to support and enable best in industry customer service at an optimal cost to serve.
  • Metric oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to comprehend broad sets of data (especially financial); technically astute, demonstrated history to act on analyses and drive impactful results.
