Cad Drafter Jobs

Job Duties:

Responsible for designing and drawing plumbing layouts using AutoCAD for new construction projects based on builder and home-owner specifications. Plan, organize, and prioritize per the new construction schedule to ensure timely completion of drawings. Construct rough-ins and waterlines according to house specifications, city requirement (Outside wall thickness, water heater locations, numbers of hammer used, pressure in the pipes), builder preference, etc. Constantly communicate with field supervisor and builders about specification on CAD designs and modify our drawing. Analyze architectural drawings, foundation engineering, specifications and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of plumbing components. Prepare Bill of Material and other construction documents. Sketch rough layouts and computes angles, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, leverages and location of pipe. Exam the whole house structural in the aspect of distance between water heater and plumbing features; size of pipes due to water pressure needed; location of water heater due to weather reason, to better the quality of our service. Involve in the design and developing of new plumbing systems styles for constructions.

Job Requirement:

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related

Must also have 6 months experience as a CAD Drafter, CAD Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or related

Must have 6 months experience in AutoCAD
