OVERVIEW:
As a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst in the Healthcare SAAS industry, you will be responsible for ensuring that the software applications and products meet the required quality standards and are error-free. The role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and its regulations and a meticulous approach to testing and problem-solving.
SCOPE:
As a QA Analyst, you will work closely with the product management, engineering, and customer success teams to identify and resolve issues related to the company's healthcare products. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, and verifying that issues have been resolved before releasing products to customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for healthcare software applications.
- Verify that issues have been resolved before releasing products to customers.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to testing processes, procedures, and results.
- Participate in the development of product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Continuously monitor and improve QA processes to ensure high quality and efficiency.
- Identify and document bugs and other issues, prioritize them, and work with the engineering team to ensure they are resolved.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest healthcare regulations and standards and ensure that products meet those requirements.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, and JIRA.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience with testing healthcare software applications and products.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, and FDA regulations.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance in the healthcare industry.
