Manager – Quality Assurance

• Location: Los Angeles Area
• Working situation: Onsite with 1 day remote per week
• Level: Manager – people leader

Our client, a mid-sized, successful pharmaceuticals firm, is working to produce innovative biologic drug therapies with multiple products in pipeline from pre-clinical to the commercialization stage.

The Manager – Quality Assurance will lead multiple project teams, by providing expertise in drug substance & drug product development for large molecules, primarily for novel therapies, from all phases of the drug development cycle with a special focus on later stage development.

The Manager – Quality Assurance will:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Monitor quality metrics and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations
• Lead the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
• Conduct internal audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance
• Manage and grow am existing 4-person QA team
• Analyze data and report on quality performance to senior management
• Provide guidance and training to staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices
• Coordinate with other departments to identify and address quality issues

The Manager – Quality Assurance has the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with relevant fields with 2+ years’ of pharma/biotech industry experience
• 4+ years of experience working with quality management system (desired)
• 2+ years of people management experience (required)
