Job Description

Overview

Come join the Development Productivity team as a Senior Quality Analyst. Development Productivity is the integration hub for complex software development teams, sitting at the cross between development, product management, quality engineering and other engineering efforts. We are responsible for creating an environment through tooling, processes, and culture to accelerate development of software for over 800+ engineers.


This role is seeking an analytical thinker to join our team as the Sr. Quality Analyst. The Sr. Quality Analyst will work closely with the Product Development teams to identify and remedy system and software defects. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for details who can work resourcefully and efficiently to assure quality of programs, software and systems. In addition, creating test plans for traceability of requirements, monitoring and logging anomaly conditions of environments, correcting escalated conditions, assisting in metrics tracking and testing coverage, monitoring of defects queues.

What you'll bring

  • BS in accounting, computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Analyze functional requirements
  • Analysis of specifications, inclusive of supportability, usability, and testability
  • Use Data in Root Cause Analysis and regression requirements for customer facing defects
  • Contributions into Automation Framework Requirements
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Reporting of test execution results
  • Demonstrated track record of effective problem-solving required
  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills required
  • Generate recommendations and advocacy for Quality best practices
  • Detailed documentation of defects found during test execution
  • Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript and HTML preferred
  • Recommend Product improvements
  • 5-7 years’ experience in software development
  • Expertise in test design, test plan and test case creation/execution
  • Facilitate quality analysis of their product area

  • Applies defined practices and procedures, and domain knowledge to design, influence, and drive quality and testability of products and services
  • Builds productive internal and external relationships that are essential to delivering quality products and services
  • Leads Quality activities/process improvements within a project or team
  • Assignments are within a limited scope, covering a moderate range of technologies and level of complexity
  • Works independently, with general instructions on assignments
  • Exercises judgment in application of methods and procedures to ensure quality products and services
  • Participates in the definition of project objectives
