Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Francisco, CA to work on data infrastructure and visualization within an enterprise AWS cloud ecosystem. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field or equivalent, and one (1) year of experience designing, building and supporting software for data analytics. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience architecting and building big data pipelines utilizing micro-services with AWS Cloud, Python, SQL, DBT and PySpark; designing data solutions to reduce manual overhead based on business requirements; automating ETL pipelines using CI/CD techniques, AWS Lambdas and API Gateways for data sources; performing software development, design and analysis using PySpark, Python and SQL; utilizing visualization technology, including Tableau, Mode Analytics and MS Excel, for data discovery, dashboard prototyping, platform implementation, and performance tuning and optimization; and performing data engineering and developing data structures and software, utilizing data streaming technologies, S3 database technologies, and Docker, Kubernetes and AWS EKS container technologies. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$170,000 — $208,300 USD
