About The Job

We are seeking a results-driven Site Manager to join our growing organization. In this position, you will serve as the point of contact for Monarch Tractor (MT) at our Contract Manufacturer (CM) site and be expected to liaise between both Monarch Tractor and the Contract Manufacturer management teams. You must possess strong organizational and communication skills and work proficiently both individually and in teams.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Communicate and support MT project managers and functional leads on financial issues, production outputs, and questions
• Provide leadership and line management to the MT team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers
• Submit monthly consolidation and analysis of productivity to MT management
• Attend all production management meetings
• Design, communicate and coordinate internal planning process, including strategic reviews, financial plan, quarterly forecast around productivity
• Track and monitor project progress
• Enforce all CM workplace policies and procedures are followed
• Hold weekly status meetings with MT management
• Monitor any issues, and ensuring production targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the MT demand plan per contract
• Prepare and submits bi-monthly progress reports
• Take Initiative to bring relevant savings opportunities to MT management attention
• Maintain and oversee CM budgets
• Supervise the work of MT on site employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Answer inquiries from CM management staff
• Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity at the CM site
• Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
• Review all project contract change notices before submitting to MT management
• Coordinate and manage the Monarch Tractor team at the Contractor Manufacturer site
• Mediate on-site conflicts
• Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of MT strategic goals
• Ensure that MT has the adequate and suitable on-site resources to complete its goals (e.g. people, material, equipment etc.)
• Report out on all CMs KPIs and highlight issues and corrective actions
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations of the Contract Manufacturer
• Ensure compliance across the worksite
• Conduct MT on-site support staff performance reviews

Site Manager Requirements And Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Budget management experience required
• Demonstrates the ability to create and manage business and technical conversations with the CM
• 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferably automotive
• Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Manage the development of different predictive models for potential risks and early mitigation
• BSc/BA in Business Management or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
• Expert use of MS O365, Jira
• Ensures approvals (within the acceptable business parameters) are received and documented
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule (nights and weekends, as needed)
• Proven experience as site or business manager or relevant role
