Job Summary
The Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) Manager will be responsible for the development of integrated business management processes across all functions of the organization. This position will report to the Director of Supply Chain and SIOP. He/she will be expected to align and synchronize demand planning with supply chain optimization and shipment planning, with the goal of enhancing the customer experience. This position will rely heavily on Operational Excellence techniques (i. e. Kaizen) to improve processes and remove waste within our organization, as well as the management of strategic data enhancement projects, primarily in the areas of item and customer master data management. The individual will be tasked with managing initiatives and projects in the areas of data migration, master data management, data clean up, data governance and quality. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for providing data definitions, establishing quality expectations and monitoring compliance to those expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the data collection and correction and clean-up as a part of company s JDE upgrade.
- Develop shipment planning processes that begin at the time the order is placed.
- Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results.
- Implement controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data quality.
- Responsible for working with sales, operations, I. T., and finance groups to facilitate the overall management strategy and approach to enhancing processes between functions and managing data integrity.
- Create and refine data structure within the contact and customer master files.
- Streamline data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics.
- Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes, and standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- CPIM certification a plus.
- Lean 6 Sigma with working knowledge of Kanban methodologies.
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Power Point, SQL a plus.
- Scheduling and planning in a manufacturing environment.
- 4-year Business or Technical degree with 2 years’ experience. Greater experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- ERP/MRP experience.
