The role
We are seeking an innovative, customer-centric, data-driven Servicing and Collections lead to act as a key part of our Operations team. You will be responsible for the complete management of all customer servicing and collections within our ecosystem, utilizing a range of internal and external resources, and working with our partners to resolve delinquencies.
We are focused on unlocking working capital for small and medium businesses, allowing them to manage and grow their company more effectively. This means you are largely interacting with either business owners or Accounts Payable teams, and customer interactions are polite and professional, which is not always the case with consumer credit servicing & collections.
This is a collaborative, fast-paced, and fun environment. A work-hard, play-hard mindset is required to do well here.
About You
- Banking operations experience in specified or comparable area preferred
- Think like an owner mentality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of invoice financing / factoring preferred
- 2+ years experience of collections, either in Accounts Receivable or credit with client facing responsibilities
- Detail obsessed, precision oriented
- Ability to multitask and maintain a solution-oriented attitude, even when dealing with frustrated customers
What your day-to-day will look like
- Resolve issues and report trends in commonly seen issues back to the Product and Engineering team
- Identify and explore opportunities across the full customer journey and improve the customer experience.
- Work with other departments to develop key performance metrics that can influence process improvements.
- Coordinate late payment and follow up with our commercial partners
- Provide evaluations and recommendations of resources needed to accommodate increases in volume due to company growth. Assists in implementing these improvements.
- Oversee and manage day to day functions for all Servicing & Collections
- Manage overall customer support function, largely via support tickets (email) and phone
