The Collections Associate is responsible for the collections of unpaid invoices and resolution of customer queries in a timely manner. Working with sales and finance team members to research queries, escalate credit risks and build customer relationships.

What You will Do

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable ledgers
• Preparation of customer accounts to be moved to collections agency
• Build relationships with high profile customers
• Contribute and assist with group email inbox
• Working with sales team to identify risks and resolution
• Customer account reconciliation and research
• Updating account status and terms in accounting systems
• Updating systems with customer contact via email and telephone calls
• Responsible for ensuring customer accounts paid within credit terms
• Weekly status reporting of overdue accounts
• Research using credit monitoring tool
• Identifying risk of non-payment and work with Supervisor for remedial action

• Experience with high volume environment of at least 1,000 accounts

• The base salary range for this position is $65K to $85K/year. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Business Wire reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time
• At least 3 years experience in collections role
