PBS Biotech, Inc. is a fast-growing private company based in Camarillo, CA that manufactures and sells the most advanced single-use bioreactors for the biopharmaceutical market. We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Coordinator to help schedule, assign, and close field service activities for PBS bioreactors worldwide. The ideal candidate should be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing the dynamic, complex logistics of scheduled maintenance and repair service activities with our field service engineers (FSEs).
Primary Responsibilities
· Manage the PBS field service database, entering new service tickets upon order receipt and updating existing tickets.
· Coordinate scheduling of open services with clients, and proactively reach out to clients to enlist in future scheduled services as applicable.
· Assign services to trained FSEs with guidance from the Head of Applications/ Service Engineering.
· Coordinate shipment of tools and parts required for service to the client’s site, as well as the return of tools and unused parts after service.
· Verify completion of pertinent post-service activities for ticket closure, following up with the lead FSE on the service as needed.
· Assess and provide necessary feedback to improve the field service process.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge/ Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
· 2+ years of industry work experience as a coordinator, scheduler, or customer service role.
· Familiarity with electromechanical products and/or the biopharmaceutical industry would be a plus.
