Job Description

This short-term contract role would be 25-30 hours per week, onsite at our El Segundo headquarters. Pay range is $25 an hour to support our event through September 15, 2023.

Tasks include:

1. Managing administrative duties including updating and adding registration to master lists, organizing creative assets and copy for mailers, collecting and organizing travel information for event, creating vendor detail guides and exhibit booth schedule.

2. Organizing and assisting pre- and post- event items including steaming linens, prepping refreshments and snacks, gathering swag giveaways, printing agendas and other materials, confirming reservations and transportation, and cleaning up items post event for Avasant hosted events.

3. Researching and gathering information on event specific items including vendors, hotels, venues, speakers, themes, and swag.

4. Assisting with organizing event décor, tradeshow booth, signage, and printing.

5. Supporting event process by organizing files, reports, travel information, timelines, run of shows, and event calendar.

Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and/or your own transportation

This role requires candidates to have a current valid work authorization to work in the United States or be Canadian or Mexican nationals eligible for NAFTA TN work authorization as a management consultant. Avasant will not sponsor any other work authorization for any candidates.
