Vice President Of Global Transportation

• Manages the bulk tank truck and railcar programs, overseeing the distribution of goods within North America.
• Provides comprehensive training across the organization, covering HTC classification, duty rates, record-keeping, and the selection of brokers and forwarders.
• Coordinates and maintains control over the movement of goods to ensure accurate documentation from the point of origin to the customer, meeting both customer and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership role in overseeing international teams responsible for managing the import, export, and domestic logistics operations of the company.
• Handles the filing of EPA Notice of Arrivals for imports, samples, and returns to the USA
• Engages in negotiations to secure competitive international, air, and domestic freight rates. Monitors performance and negotiates contracts with third-party freight payment and audit companies, warehouses, and logistics providers worldwide.
• Collaborates closely with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with NAFTA, EPA, FDA, and USDA regulations, including labeling requirements.
• Ensures the company's compliance with all domestic and international shipping requirements.

• 10 – 12 years of related experience, with 5 –7 years of progressive management experience

• Experience with SAP required

• Highly experienced and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills required

• Experience working within matrix, multinational organization

• Ability to analyze and interpret data to generate insights and drive action

• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills is required
