Job Title: Corporate Vice President, Enterprise Business Applications


Department: Technology


Location: Atlanta


Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Vice President of Enterprise Business Applications is responsible for partnering closely with all business stakeholders to deliver and support effective, efficient, and scalable internal corporate solutions. The individual is responsible for providing oversight and direction for business solutions and effectively managing third party partnerships. This individual will be responsible for managing a global internal team and is expected to identify opportunities to support their professional development. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in Enterprise Business applications. He or she will have experience working closely with business partners for continuous improvement.


Responsibilities For Enterprise Business Applications


  • Establish cross-functional and collaborative dialog to ensure alignment with business partners on technology priorities and resource utilization
  • Provide input in buildout of department capital and operating budgets
  • Build business cases for new technologies and tools to improve products and end user experience
  • Develop and report key performance indicators for internal systems and manage third party
  • Partner closely with information security and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal application performance and security
  • Manage third party vendor relationships to achieve business objectives and meet expected SLAs with high quality including quarterly business reviews
  • Ensure systems and processes achieve system and organizational controls (SOC 1) objectives and follow an Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance (Q/A) practices
  • Sets standards, define quality metrics, and establish continuous improvement
  • Provide technical leadership with focus on application and process innovation
  • Provide architecture, interface documentation, data flows, and asset documentation as needed to support the applications


Desired Skills For Enterprise Business Applications


  • Understanding and experience in IT control framework and compliance
  • Requires excellent program and project management skills (eg, estimating, work planning, project reporting and tracking, issue management)
  • 15+ years of experience in an IT role, as well as 7+ years of IT leadership experience
  • Capable of prioritizing, managing, and completing multiple tasks within a given time frame
  • Understanding and experience in managing relationships with multiple vendors, technologies, and customers. Experience negotiating third party hosting and support agreements for business-critical applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into practical action
  • Capability of communicating a vision and strategy that gives staff direction and focuses their efforts
  • Demonstrated deep experience leading and / or managing corporate/business applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Engineering, or other related discipline required

  • Master’s degree
  • Strong sense of creativity and the ability to adapt easily
  • This position requires comprehensive technical, communication, and management skills and ability to oversee daily IT operations and ensure that performance requirements are met
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a dynamic team
  • Ability to discuss complex principles and issues to both technical and non-technical individuals
  • This job includes frequent interaction with a wide range of personnel, which requires excellent interpersonal skills


Work Conditions:


  • Must work in office 4 days per week with a long-term objective of being in the office 5 days per week
  • Office location must be in Atlanta GA
  • May require occasional travel including international travel
