The Senior Sales Manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. The Senior Sales Manager is a career sales professional and a top producer within the hotel sales incentive market, who has demonstrated through performance, a commitment and expertise in direct sales within this segment. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, residences, meeting space and developing programing within the hotel that is customized to this group segment. This is a remote position, based in the mid-west. This individual will be required to travel on Sales trips and to the hotel for some customer related events. Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate. The Senior Sales Manager also works as a team member with the sales and catering staff and is in close contact with other hotel support staff.

The salary range for this position starts at $90,000 /year. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in successfully working in a remote environment
  • Experience with creating and executing business development plans
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Sales Systems such as Envision or Delphi
  • Must have 3-5 years of Incentive Account hotel sales experience
  • Experience with seasonal resorts
