Job Description

We're the team that allows Renewable Energy to get online on time. We are hiring immediately for a highly motivated Process Engineer- to be based in Pearland, Texas. The Process Engineer role applies engineering principles to design, modify, or develop projects utilizing Aggreko fleet equipment.

What you'll do:
  • Assist with project management activities during project execution where needed.
  • Study engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry.
  • Work alongside Sales teammates to assist in delivering process design proposals.
  • Develop process design recommendations considering cost, available space, time limitations, technical requirements, company planning, and economic factors.
  • Travel to support process studies, process design, and project execution at customer site
  • Obtain and analyze technical data to qualify relevant process systems opportunities.
  • Communicate project specifics to technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Effectively multitask several projects
  • Provide technical information, internally and externally, concerning process applications, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations.
  • Participate in pre and post project reviews.
  • Generate technical documents to support the Aggreko work processes.
  • Use chemical engineering first-principals, computer assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
We're experts, which means you'll have the following skills and experience:
  • Proficiency in process simulators (i.e. HYSYS, VMGSim, HTRI Suite of Heat Transfer software)
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from an accredited university
  • Broad understanding of engineering thermodynamics, fluid flow, and complex heat transfer systems
  • Broad understanding of petrochemical and/or refining industry
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • PC literacy in a Microsoft or ERP system environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to drive project execution through conceptual and detailed design.
  • Professional Engineering License a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
