Senior Power BI Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective Power BI solutions for our clients. This includes advanced DAX skills, business requirement gathering, and strong client communication skills. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, be detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

•Have strong business requirement gathering communication skills

•Develop Power BI reports based on business requirements

•Advanced experience in designing and developing data models and reports in Power BI

•Optimize performance of Power BI reports and data models

•Develop and maintain advanced DAX functions, such as USERELATIONSHIP and DAX time-intelligence functions

•Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions

•Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Power BI reports and data models

•Experience with DAX Studio, SSMS, and Tabular Editor

•Power Query M understanding is a nice to have

Requirements:

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI development

•Experience in consulting for at least 2-3 years

•Advanced DAX skills

•Proficient SQL is a nice to have

•Strong client communication skills

•Business requirement gathering experience

•Experience with DAX time-intelligence functions

•Experience working remotely

•Must be a U.S. citizen

•Open to W2, C2C and 1099 contractors
