Position: Senior Manager HRIS & Workforce Analytics

As the Senior Manager HRIS & Workforce Analytics, you will lead the management of MPG's system and ensure a high level of efficiency and ease of use for the organization. This professional will be an integral part of the HR team, responsible for the ongoing design, configuration, management, and maintenance of the MPG People system. This role will lead the HRIS management efforts and corresponding initiatives and enhancements to the system along with KPI dashboard development.


Responsibilities


  • Lead implementation and integration of new HRIS upgrades, working closely with vendors, IT teams, and department stakeholders to ensure successful deployment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and maintain data accuracy
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of new system enhancements
  • Oversee the management and administration of the HRIS platform, including system configuration, security, and access controls
  • Develop and execute project plans, including defining project scope, timelines, requirements, and testing strategies


HR Data Management and Reporting


  • Manage a direct report to generate regular and ad-hoc reports, metrics, and analytics to support HR and management decision-making
  • Identify trends and patterns in HR data, provide actionable insights to leadership


User Training and Support


  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials related to HRIS functionality
  • Provide guidance and training to HR staff and system users on HRIS functionality, workflows, and best practices
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting HRIS-related issues and provide timely support to resolve user queries or technical problems
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in HR technologies and make recommendations for system upgrades or modifications that align with business needs


Qualifications


  • 5+ years of business or HR management experience, with proven track record of successful HRIS implementations and system management
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
  • Leaders must be willing as to work to meet work demands working varied hours at time
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data management principles utilizing different platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expert level in Excel


Physical Demands


  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Ability to lift to 15 lbs. independently not to exceed 50 lbs. without help.
