Denver/hybrid is preferred; however, we will consider strong US based remote candidates.


About The Role


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join the Wellmore team. This role reports to our senior director of FP&A and will directly manage a financial analyst in a five-person team. You will collaborate closely with the operation and marketing team to report, analyze, budget and forecast COGs and SG&A across our four brands. You will drive projects aimed at improving margins and develop P&Ls for our innovations. An essential aspect of your role will involve building robust financial models and streamlining complex processes through continuous improvement initiatives.


What You’ll Do


  • Continuously work to simplify, streamline and automate processes and procedures
  • Lead product profitability analysis, establishing appropriate KPIs and performance dashboards
  • Provide mentorship and coaching
  • Partner with operations to review co-manufacturer costs and inputs. Partner with marketing to build marketing forecasts and analysis
  • Partner closely with accounting team to create and review monthly financial results, perform variance analysis, and provide commentary/explanations for key variances
  • Ad Hoc reporting and support as needed
  • Support latest estimate and annual budget forecasting
  • Provide planning, reporting and analysis of COGS, and SG&A for all four brands on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis
  • Encourage brand growth, serving as the financial representative on cross-functional teams, building the P&Ls for innovation items, new formulations, new customers, etc


Requirements


What We’re Looking For


  • Advanced Excel skills are required; an Excel test will be given during the interview process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills
  • Strong ethics and integrity
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • 6+ years of experience in an FP&A role with strong experience in forecasting, reporting, P&L management, and budgeting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Demonstrated experience working with an ERP/financial reporting system
  • Results-driven: Candidate must have the ability to deliver results and possess a strong drive to meet and exceed goals and is willing to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions
  • Strong finance knowledge and solid accounting knowledge


Nice to Have


  • Consumer Packaged Goods experience
  • Experience with companies of varying size and varying complexity
  • MBA, CFA or CPA
  • Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is 125,000 to 140,000 USD/year. This position is also eligible for short- and long-term incentives. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
