What You’ll Be Doing:

• Command the corporate level transactions, keeping your finger on the pulse of budget variances.
• Partner with the Controller to architect the financial pillars of the company.
• Oversee the crafting of monthly journal entries, weaving the story of our client's financial health.
• Act as the guardian of accounting data, ensuring its integrity and accuracy.
• Facilitate third-party audits, building trust with key stakeholders.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the month-end close process, setting the rhythm for the business.
• Mastermind the general and administrative budgets across various departments, shaping financial strategy.
• Own the intricacies of corporate balance sheet reconciliations.

About You:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is required, real estate experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain quality working relationships that benefit the firm. A team player that motivates peers and helps build cohesive and productive teams.
• Ability to interpret complex legal documents and understand investment structures is critical.
• Proficiency with a Windows computer environment. Proficiency in the preparation and review of detailed and comprehensive Excel financial models and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience working in commercial real estate, ideally in a real estate private equity environment.
