The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the key functions of the HR department, including recruitment & retention, employee engagement, performance management, compensation & benefits, training & development, HRIS administration, and data analytics.

SENIOR HR GENERALIST ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the annual performance review process.
• Oversee the UKG system functions; including onboarding, terminations, promotions, transfers, pay adjustments and reporting.
• Assist with benefits, compensation, and engagement surveys.
• Develop and maintain job descriptions.
• Complete all other projects as assigned.
• Develop and maintain digital employment files.
• Develop and maintain the employee handbook.
• Provide HR support for our worksite locations, including monitoring changes and new developments in state and local employment laws and regulations.
• Assist with the development of employee training and recognition programs.

SENIOR HR GENERALIST QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of basic Human Resources functions.
• Familiarity with California state labor laws & regulations is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of five years of HR Generalist experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Willingness to travel (when needed).
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HCM Software, UKG preferred.
