Our client, a growing healthcare firm, is seeking a HR Generalist to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and a passion for improving the employee experience. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a key role in supporting our HR department's daily activities. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff.

Job Details


Responsibilities


  • Work closely with the HR team to deliver SHRM practices and objectives.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive introduction to our organization.
  • Assist in performance management procedures.
  • Participate in the development and execution of training programs.
  • Coordinate employee relations efforts, providing mediation and conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage HR compliance matters, ensuring all policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law.
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
  • Utilize HRIS systems for data entry, reporting, and managing employee records.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance and support in resolving issues and concerns.


Qualifications


  • Knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of hiring processes including recruitment, interview process, and onboarding.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a HR Generalist role or similar.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential is preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Proficient with HRIS, MS Office Suite, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
