- Work closely with the HR team to deliver SHRM practices and objectives.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive introduction to our organization.
- Assist in performance management procedures.
- Participate in the development and execution of training programs.
- Coordinate employee relations efforts, providing mediation and conflict resolution when necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Manage HR compliance matters, ensuring all policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law.
- Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
- Utilize HRIS systems for data entry, reporting, and managing employee records.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance and support in resolving issues and concerns.
- Knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Strong knowledge of hiring processes including recruitment, interview process, and onboarding.
- Aptitude in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a HR Generalist role or similar.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential is preferred.
- Excellent understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
- Proficient with HRIS, MS Office Suite, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
