Primary role is supporting Bath & Body Works Stores organization with associate relations and workplace concerns. This includes partnering and consulting with associates and leaders to conduct thorough investigations consistent with company process and expectations. Supports field leaders with coaching and feedback, conflict resolution and performance management.


Responsibilities

  • Exercise considerable judgment and discretion in scenarios that are complex, highly- sensitive, and require confidentiality
  • Regularly collaborate with relevant partners, including Legal, Asset Protection, HR Business Partners, and Operational Leaders
  • Promote and support BBW’s culture by exemplifying transparency, fairness, integrity, a deep respect for our Open-Door Policy, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion at all times.
  • Conduct thorough, fair, and confidential investigations
  • Ensure consistent application of policies, practices, and company values.
  • Conduct customer care investigations, support communication with cross functional partners and leaders, and work to identify appropriate resolutions.
  • Assist in supporting the application of leaves of absences, return to work, and accommodations.
  • Manage multiple cases and investigations simultaneously
  • Partner with Asset Protection and HR Business Partners on resolution of AP investigations, background checks, etc.
  • Advise partners proactively based on trending workplace investigation issues
  • Support field leaders with coaching and feedback, associate relations, conflict resolution and performance management
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a passion for getting things right


Qualifications & Experience

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, prioritize demands and manage multiple cases and investigations in a fast-paced environment
  • Labor Relations experience preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in associate relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution
  • Commitment to the highest degree of ethical conduct
  • Ability to navigate highly-sensitive and confidential situations
  • HR Professional certification (e.g., SPHR/PHR, SHRM-CP/SCP, or related/similar certifications) preferred
  • Ability to travel where investigations require a physical presence
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse associate populations
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to listen well, demonstrate sensitivity to all parties, and easily develop trust, rapport, and partnership with partners and leaders
  • Solid understanding of employment-related laws, regulations, and procedures (e.g. DOL practices, EEOC processes, Title VII protections, FMLA/CFRA, ADA accommodations, NLRA, etc.)


Education

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field; or a combination of education and work experience that yields the minimally required knowledge, skills and abilities preferred
