Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Fp&A

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team and lead financial consolidation. This key role will have high visibility and focus on company-level analytics and modeling, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow. You will be part of the Corporate Finance team that oversees the company financials, helping guide business decisions through management reporting and insights, and by partnering with all levels and various teams across the organization.

What Your Day Could Consist Of

• Partner closely with HR, Accounting, and within FP&A to lead the consolidation of the company financials
• Support company planning activities related to month close/forecasts, opex and headcount reporting, and the annual operating plan
• Lead financing related activities, investor relations related reporting and audit requests
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to provide insight on company performance, operational optimization, and benchmarking
• Own the bottoms-up corporate financial model using the Adaptive Insights tool; proactively manage the performance of Adaptive Insights, remediate issues and make improvements as needed
• Prepare executive management presentations, including reporting packages and Board presentations

What Is Needed

• BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
• Experience with Adaptive and SaaS business models are a plus
• 3+ years of relevant Finance experience, with superb financial modeling skills and experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
• Superior written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Must live local to the Chicago area
• Understanding of GAAP accounting
• Possesses determination and perseverance; ability to find creative ways to get the job done and to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in investment banking or management consulting preferred
