Senior Financial Planning Analyst

HYBRID ROLE: Must be able to commute into the office (IL, NY, or KS) at least two days a week.

As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will provide financial oversight and support of major IT Projects and Business Case modeling. Support includes monthly financial and operational reporting on key initiatives, provide input for the annual budget, and assist in the three-year business development planning process. This position reports to the GBS Finance Manager/Director with dotted line support of an IT Executive and/or a Global IT Business Relationship Manager for one of WK’s Business Units.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the creation of annual budget and three-year Business Development Plan, detailing cost expectations, along with supporting strategic and tactical plans
• Participate and recommend efficiencies and opportunities for process improvement within given responsibility
• Participate in the monthly financial close process via submission of accruals and other necessary journal entries
• Prepare forecasts and evaluate corresponding efficiencies, productivity and other initiatives, as applicable
• Understand business issues and can advise concerning business policy, resource allocation, and business operations to improve financial performance
• Report monthly financial results, analyze and interpret financial information pertaining to the IT key projects and initiatives to Global WK Divisions
• Prepare and manage GBS Cloud monthly allocation journal entry and serve as the main contact for business unit inquiries
• Accountable for business case modeling and performance tracking for the IT key projects and initiatives

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other database tools
• Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications Preferred:

• Candidates should have a successful track record as a business partner; proven ability to perform in a complex, high performing, finance organization.
• Experience with excel VBA
• Experience in financial reporting and IT operations preferred.
• MBA or advance degree

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, NY, WA:: $90,700-$126,850
