The Role:

THE WELL is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, who is a self-starter, to support our CFO and Executive team. The Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

Own company operating model as well as annual budget, quarterly forecast, including departmental budgets and financial targets

Manage cash flow, P&L and departmental best practices

Create administrative best practices and SOPs for company wide finance initiatives

Collaborate closely with the accounting department to analyze the company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets.

Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management and board.

Analytics

Assist CFO and CoFounders in financial planning and results management. Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.

Coordinate, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Fundraising

Assist Executive team with fundraise efforts

Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.

Relationships

Develop and coordinate relationships with existing and future lending/financial institutions.

Manage relationships with insurance providers and ensure compliance.

Interact with venture capital partners and board of directors

Create strong relationships with team members and seen as a trusted advisor

The Person We Need:

5 + years of relevant work experience building/scaling a finance department in a startup environment

Strong track record of financial modeling and data mining to support decision making

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA and/or CMA preferred but not required.

Strong emotional intelligence, organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Experience in a service business with activity based project costing

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines

Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.

Effectively communicate priorities and roll out departmental initiatives

$130,000 - $140,000 a year
