Job Title: Senior Director- Operations
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: $130K to $160K
Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior Director- Operations to oversee the financial and operational success of assigned outpatient geriatric practices. The Senior Director will ensure the direction and implementation of operating policies and initiatives and is accountable to the Vice President of Operations, Value Based Care.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintains routine communication with VP to review operational issues, performance targets and other projects defined by the COO.
• Ensures regular communication of operational performance to appropriate provider and staff teams.
• Confirms that staff contributing to all areas of clinic performance are adhering to policies and procedures.
• Works with Site Director to ensure compliance with performance standards and continuity of practice across location in the assigned region.
• Approximately 60% of work week will be spent on site working in the assigned practices for the region.
• Works with clinics to interview and hire clinic operational leadership and other clinic leaders.
• Supports initiatives for annual budget development and ensures adherence to budget for his/her assigned region.
• Routinely uses meaningful financial metrics to drive business decisions for the practices in his/her region.
• Oversees operations and service delivery of outpatient geriatric practice sites.
• Partners with Provider and Nursing Leadership to ensure clinics are aligned in support of standard clinical and quality protocols.
• Monitors, interprets and reports operational and financial performance monthly with Site Directors, VP, and medical leadership.

Key Criteria

• Masters degree, MHA, MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of business and care models that support value-based care.
• Bachelors in business, healthcare or related discipline is required.
• Financial and analytical expertise in budget development, physician practice productivity, productivity standards, revenue cycle management, provider relations, scheduling and referral tracking management and all other aspects relating to the management of a dynamic and growing practice.
• Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience managing a clinics practice operations required.
