The role: Senior Copywriter, B2B Partnerships


Hello! Slalom is looking for a seasoned B2B Senior Copywriter to join the Partner Marketing team within our Global Marketing Studio. You’re a hands-on, well-rounded creative, passionate about crafting copy that moves people and inspires action. You’ll support and collaborate with the Slalom team responsible for amplifying our key technology partnerships, which include AWS, Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, and more. On any given day, you will be concepting, writing and/or editing a wide range of deliverables for B2B campaigns and conferences—everything from social copy to video scripts to event booths. You’re a gatekeeper of the unique Slalom brand voice, exploring new ways to express (and celebrate!) the fiercely human approach that sets Slalom apart.

What You'll Do


  • Be a vocal leader within our growing Creative Studio: challenging, encouraging, supporting, and inspiring us along the way
  • Distill complex enterprise technology concepts and subject matter into effective and memorable copy, doing independent research and stakeholder interviews as needed
  • Partner with cross-disciplinary teams to brainstorm and ideate campaign concepts for larger-scale partner and brand marketing campaign efforts
  • Write action-oriented copy for social media (with a focus on LinkedIn), email, landing pages, video, infographics, event booths, signage, printed materials, merch, and more
  • Lead as an expert in the Slalom brand voice, writing platform-appropriate messaging to support Slalom’s partner marketing campaigns and conferences
  • Concept and write for Slalom’s presence at large conferences (e.g. AWS Reinvent and Salesforce’s Dreamforce), including both pre-event promotional material and booth messaging


What You’ll Bring


  • A passion for technology—taking pride in distilling those complex tech topics into digestible, compelling wordcraft
  • A portfolio that showcases your concepting abilities, along with B2B writing samples across a variety of marketing channels, including social media, video, and experiential/events/conferences
  • Familiarity with emerging tools for creatives, e.g. ChatGPT(AI) and Canva (Templatized Assets), is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills, with an ability to articulate and defend your writing decisions
  • An understanding of the nuances between B2B and B2C/CPG audiences, with an ability to reach them in Slalom’s engaging, authentic, witty voice—differentiated from dry “tech-speak”
  • Flawless spelling and grammar, with a flair for brevity (and maybe a well-placed pun or two!)
  • Experience managing and mentoring other writers is a plus.

Compensation And Benefits


The targeted range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Please see below for information on Slalom benefits.
