Assembly’s US team is looking for an SEO Copywriter. The SEO Copywriter is a unique position that blends traditional SEO expertise with Content, Social, PR, and Brand Marketing. The right candidate will have a solid understanding of the current SEO landscape, as we’re looking for a strong addition to help support our content optimization strategies.
Responsibilities
We’re looking for someone to write content for our clients.
The right candidate will:
- Write blog posts, articles, and evergreen on-page copy as directed by the SEO specialist
- Conduct research online as needed to support the given topic
- Write quickly and clearly, incorporating best practices for SEO content
- Adapt your writing voice to the target site’s voice
- Edit content for grammar and spelling
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadlines
- 2+ years of professional writing experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Basic understanding of SEO
- Professional demeanor with a focus on client service and satisfaction
- Strong copywriting, grammar and editing skills
- Experience writing about health insurance topics
- Strong MS Office skills

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $61,200 - $79,560. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
In addition to medical, dental and vision coverage, we offer a generous PTO plan, 401k program, comprehensive family planning benefits (including paid parental leave), and pre-tax commuter benefits.
