Description

Providence is calling a Senior Communications Specialist who will:

• Collaborate with department leadership and teams
• Perform various communication tasks and functions to support the strategy, planning and delivery of communication efforts
• Engage in broad internal/external communication projects to support organization-wide programs and initiatives, and assists with developing consistent, clear messaging to all Providence Health Plan Audiences

We welcome 100% remote work for residents of Washington, Oregon & California.

Required Qualifications For This Position Include

• Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field of study
• 3 years experience working in highly matrixed and geographically dispersed organizations and teams
• 3 years experience in developing communication programs and business relationships
• 3 years experience in communication, preferably in health care

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• 5 years' experience in a faith-based health system/organization
• Experience developing social media strategy and content
• Strong writing & content development skills
• 5 years communication experience in health care or health plans

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
