About the role:

As a Health Communication Specialist, you will serve as a health communications expert providing marketing and advisory techniques to promote positive health outcomes.

Salary:

$84,546 - $109,908 per year. This is the BASE salary for the position.

What you'll do:

• Develop and manage contracts and task orders and the required documentation that supports the health communication program and projects.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with health officials, partners, and community representatives.
• Review technical and business proposals and monitors the quality of products and deliverables.
• Present health communication briefings or presentations to various groups such as federal, state, and local constituents.
• Develop, implement, and manage national communication and marketing programs, projects and initiatives for various audiences, including demonstration projects.
• Conduct and manage audience research and program evaluation activities for health communication and marketing.

Experience we're looking for:

(1) Developing or modifying consumer-facing content and user experiences related to health communications programs.

(2) Developing techniques or approaches to improve health communications.

(3) Managing communication projects related to health care programs.
