The Role

• Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate identified threats and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as IT, Corporate Security, HR, and Legal, to gather necessary information so interviews can be conducted when needed.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to management, detailing findings, trends, and recommendations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of insider threat awareness and training programs for employees.
• Must have industry leading knowledge about various security technologies, such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems, User Behavior Analytics (UBA), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, and Security Orchestrations, Automation, & Response (SOAR) to proactively identify anomalies, potential risks, and insider threats.
• Develop and implement insider threat detection strategies and tools to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Conduct in-depth investigations into suspicious activities, including data exfiltration, unauthorized access, and other security incidents.
• Monitor and analyze internal systems, networks, and user activity to identify potential insider threats and policy violations.
• Be aware of the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging threats related to insider threats.

Who You Are

• Proficiency in using security tools such as SIEM, DLP, UBA,SOAR and endpoint security solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of insider threat detection and mitigation techniques, tools, and technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards, with the ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
• Must have 10-12 years’ experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience working as an Insider Threat Analyst, with a strong focus on identifying and mitigating internal risks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Solid understanding of security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
