Position: Senior Business Analyst (Full Time)

Location: New York, Hybrid with 2-3 days in the office

Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience

We are seeking for a Senior Business Consultant to collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements. The focus of this position is to work closely with the clients to get an understanding of their business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates.

Senior Business Analyst will:

• Support the development and quality teams in understanding and assimilating the requirements.
• Identify, assess, and document business requirements, factor business priorities, and advise business on options, risks, and costs. Conduct a feasibility analysis of possible solutions in consultation with technical architects and perform impact analysis of the proposed solution.
• Assist with high level design documents and help the team with functional understanding.
• Engage in pre-sales activities like create functional response to RFPs, bid defense, conduct demos .
• Understand the overall business dynamics, strategic objectives, IT landscape and organization culture of the client organization and identify the system's fit in the ecosystem.
• Scoping and defining new business opportunities. Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive).
• Work with cross-functional team of usability/user experience analysts and visual designers to design effective and compelling user-experience.
• Interact with project sponsors, business owners and end users in the client organization to understand business and project objectives. Conduct stakeholder and end user interviews, workshops, and surveys for identifying business needs.
• Work with quality assurance team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into suitable test cases and plans leading to full test coverage of the system.
• Create prototypes in form of sketches and wireframes using basic usability principles.
• Conduct requirement walkthroughs, gather feedback, resolve conflicts, build consensus and refine the solution based on the gathered inputs.
• Experience working with a Housing Authority, Governmental Agency Plan, estimate, define scope of the business analysis phase and take complete ownership of the Requirement and Design phases until completion.
• Develop requirement specifications in the format determined by the chosen project methodology and engagement scope which could include business requirements document, Design documents, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, process models, workflow diagrams, UAT plan etc.

What you'll bring to Nagarro:

• Team Player, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel, Visio.
• 10+ years of experience working in full lifecycle IT Projects with 7+ years of Business Analysis/Solution Consultant experience.
• Must have experience working with housing authorities on mid to large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
• Proficient with prototyping and wireframing tools such as Sketch, Invision.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
