Job Description

Position: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Midtown, NYC (Hybrid)

Salary: 75k – 100k + Bonus


Prestigious Professional Service firm based in NYC seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Team


Responsibilities:

  • Outlining the financial performance of Sector and Practices by supporting the Senior FP&A Manager in all function of business
  • Performs ad hoc analyses as required for various groups
  • Proactively identify, design, and implement enhancements to existing processes and systems
  • Collaborate with Leadership to provide financial support in terms of analysis and understanding of performance
  • Presents monthly reporting to Sectors & Practices, including key observations and insights from the reported data
  • Performs monthly office analysis requests & reports
  • Completes monthly analysis requests based on Standardized Reporting Package
  • Planning processes and monthly and quarterly strategic sector reporting
  • Performs yearly sector planning (end to end)
  • Trains & reviews work of outsourced finance reporting team on monthly reporting structure


Requirements:

  • Must have strong analytical, strategic, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience, preferably in a finance or analytical role
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Skills
