Job Description

Join our growing GIS team in this Seasonal Assignment (20 hours per week beginning in June 2023 through August 2023) and help build innovative tools and services that address complex issues at the intersection of geospatial data, algorithms, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate across multiple teams in critical domains, including energy, transportation, disaster response and recovery, and public health, to iterate on effective solutions.
  • Assist with developing solutions to complex problems using an array of modern, cloud-based IT, data, and GIS tools and technologies.
  • Support creation of static maps, cleaning of geospatial data, and integration of interactive maps and geospatial analytics across desktop and mobile web interfaces.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-functional, dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to help design and support the implementation of innovative GIS analysis and applications.
Minimum Qualification:
  • High School Diploma
  • US Citizen or Permanent Lawful Resident (Green Card Holder).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ArcPro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS enterprise, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, and/or Qlick tools and technologies
  • Knowledge of agile software development
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills paired with a desire to take initiative to grow our team’s visualization capabilities

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$35,061.00 - $59,604.00
