Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a full-time Scheduling Associate (Remote) to join our Patient Access Team!
The Scheduling Associate is responsible for pre-registration, scheduling, electronically verifying insurance eligibility and accurately identifying patient financial responsibility.
This is a key position that will begin the overall patient experience and initiates the billing process for any services provided by the hospital.

Shift: Days**

• After (3) three months of on-site training at our 41 University Drive location in Newtown, PA this role will be remote.

Ongoing, there is a requirement to be on-site when needed for team meetings, trainings, etc.
Scheduling Associate

• Is responsible for coordinating timely and accurate appointment scheduling across the Mercy Health enterprise with expertise in scheduling protocols, insurance requirements and accurate collection and verification of pre-registration needs.
• Demonstrates expertise in managing complex patient needs, managing high priority lines, achieving exceptional ongoing QA scores and exceeding productivity metrics.
• Balances multiple tasks while ensuring access levels into the Call Center.
• Completes scheduling of appointment, pre-registration, insurance verification and authorization requirements with collection of out-of-pocket payments as applicable based on Bronze Standard.
• Handles additional tasks and projects while maintaining productivity metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year experience in a medical office, hospital setting or call center environment.
• Associate or bachelor's degree (preferred)
• HS diploma or equivalency
