HR and Recruitment Coordinator- looking for go getters

- Serve as a strategic business advisor and a mentor to varying levels within the organization
- Supervise the distribution of monthly letters to employees for upcoming and overdue credentials.
- Develop, recommend and implement agency plans and policies promoting job satisfaction and enhancing employee retention through efficient use of the organization’s resources
- Prepare a monthly staffing report for Director/Owner identifying the origin of our caregivers and turnover rates
- Coordinate front to back recruiting cycle for caregivers and office staff; includes management of job descriptions, job posting, vendor relationship management, screening of candidates, arranging logistics for interviews, actual interview process management, hiring, background and reference checks, and onboarding. This also includes
- Anticipate, assess, and minimize litigation risks
- Compose employment verification letters on behalf of employees seeking assistance through various entities
- Maintain Learning Management System
- Assist executive management with preparation and administration of the agency’s mentor program
- Perform internal audit of client and caregiver files quarterly, as well as maintain annual EEOC reporting
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation while ensuring the organization’s safety and compliance
- Experience working in a progressive HR environment with exposure to best practices in talent management, employee relations, change management, and recruitment
- Develop and lead new hire training program and ongoing training of current staff
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- 5+ years in Human Resource experience including Recruitment, Hiring, Compliance, FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, and Benefits Management
- Supervise the maintenance of Government I-9 Forms, Two-Step PPD (Tuberculin Test) and Criminal Background Check binders
- Maintain up-to-date HR filing on all employees and help manage communication to employees with regard to terminations, resignations, LOA, etc. Orchestrate results to caregiver disputes, resolutions and mediation and maintain resolution logs
- High level of proficiency in HR systems such as Performance Reviews, Administration, Recruiting
- Strong understanding of the interview process, benefits administration
- Recruit and build a talented team to allow the agency to continue its progression
- Provide overall leadership in the back office from the Human capital perspective
- Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
- Manage staff wellness and performance reviews
- Coordinate from to back HR related activities such as reviewing payroll, managing PTO’s, supporting all caregiver HR issues with Sr. Client Services Manager.
