We are currently seeking a passionate entrepreneur Intern to support the Sandro Buying Department for SMCP North America. This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing French retail group in the affordable luxury sector. The objectives of our robust Internship program are threefold: (1) to provide a hands on look at the Buying function within a luxury retail brand, (2) to provide insights into what it’s like working in a corporate environment, and (3) to provide professional development opportunities.
Position Summary: Assisting with day to day Buying operations of the Sandro Brand team
What You’ll be Doing: Merchandising

• Collaborate with cross functional departments (PR/Marketing, Visual Merchandising, E-commerce, Retail Operations and more as needed)
• Assist with generating performance reports at a weekly basis
• Create Trend Recap analysis & Product Knowledge Trainings
• Provide administrative and other ad hoc support as needed
• Support buyers with assortment building and hindsights

Who You Are

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical capacity (Excel formulas, PowerPoint)
• Must be resourceful, proactive, organized, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates should be available all 5 days a week, 3 days in the office as a hybrid working model
• Basic understanding of retail buying principles; Prior Merchandising Internship Experience preferred
• Enthusiastic and team player with a can-do attitude
• Knowledgeable about SMCP Brands, Competitive Brand Landscape, Market Trends
