Job Details


The Customer Service/Sales Support role is paramount to the brand in provided product/service information to anyone who would interface with the person responsible in this capacity. This person will effectively manage calls, chats, emails and multiple form of communication to enhance the overall experience for customers and inhouse personal. Our employees are required to come to the Pompano office 3 days a week and can work remote 2 days. Office hours are 8 30-5pm or 9-5 30pm. The Sales Support position is considered hybrid after complete on-boarding. Depending on the individual, remote privileges go into effect between 3-6 months of service.


Responsibilities/Duties


  • Process RGAs and work with Engineering to ensure products are available for repair or provide an alternative lighting solution.
  • Coordinate shipments to customers with the warehouse by confirming delivery address and shipping details with the customer.
  • Provide technical support to agents and specifiers as needed, including product design, usage and installation.
  • Maintain communications between all customers and individual departments within the company, including answering customer emails and telephone calls.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing Department to ensure all orders are released in a timely manner and provide customers with estimated ship dates.
  • Work closely with the Finance Department to verify commission/overage calculations and ensure all payments have been received to release customer orders to ship.
  • Ensure all new POs and change orders received from customers are processed within 24 hours.


Requirements


  • Experience in Lighting is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
  • Ability to learn new and complicated systems quickly, with a strong background in ERP systems and other databases.
  • Successful experience in a fast paced, multitasking environment required.
  • Microsoft Office, and/or advanced Excel skills is required.
  • Associates degree in Business or Technical field required; Bachelors preferred.
