Job Summary: Mavuno Harvest is seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our sales and distribution efforts across the United States. As the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, driving revenue growth, and building and maintaining relationships with key clients and distributors. This role requires a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for sustainable and ethically sourced food products.

Responsibilities:


  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company objectives, increase market share, and drive revenue growth in the United States.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to the Mavuno Harvest brand.
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, market trends, and competitive insights, providing recommendations for product positioning and market expansion.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives.
  5. Develop and manage the sales budget, forecasting sales volumes, revenues, and expenses accurately.
  6. Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, generating regular reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and propose corrective actions.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer preferences, and regulations related to sustainable and organic food products, incorporating this knowledge into sales strategies and initiatives.
  8. Represent Mavuno Harvest at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and identify new business opportunities.


Qualifications:


  1. Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in the food industry.
  2. Experience working with UNFI, KEHE, brokers, Spins, and all things food/CPG.
  3. Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  4. Excellent knowledge of the United States market, including distribution channels, key accounts, and retail trends.
  5. Familiarity with sustainable and organic food products and an understanding of ethical sourcing practices.
  6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and partners.
  7. Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  8. Ability to travel as required to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit regional offices.
  9. Passion for sustainability, social impact, and making a positive difference in the world.
