Job Description

Infosys is hiring two (2) Sales Directors to build a focused market strategy and implement pro-active new business development activities for our Manufacturing Practice. Ideal candidates have experience selling IT solutions and services to Manufactures, Automotive, Defense, Aerospace or similar industry domains.


The Sales Director will be growing net new business and new logo pipeline targets. Requires understanding of market and competition to develop appropriate and compelling sales strategies and apply solutioning expertise as a key member of the project sales teams. A good Sales Hunter is motivated to drive pipeline creation and actively helps the team develop value propositions based on a firm understanding of opportunity areas or the business problems.

Sales Manager Description:

  • Be the face of Infosys to the market and help position Infosys as an industry leader and trusted advisor
  • Responsible for identifying and closing new deals
  • Leverage the Infosys ecosystem of capabilities across technology practices, industry verticals and service lines to develop solutions that address the client’s business problems
  • Ground-breaking force behind developing platform solutions specifically geared towards manufacturing


Required Sales Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant business development experience selling IT services
  • Experience with IT services and solutions is ideal
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • Understanding of Global Delivery Model (offshore/outsourcing)
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Track record of interacting and building relationship with CXOs of leading organization
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentation

Preferred Sales Manager Qualifications:

  • History of achieving/overachieving sales targets
  • Ability to identify upcoming RFPs and deals by networking with key client partners
  • Experience with competitor mapping and SWAT analysis
  • Well networked within the IT services industry and manufacturing vertical would be a preference
  • Experience in software and services deals and contracts
  • Ability to define specific to ground-breaking solutions within abstract environments
